Primrose Residence

Living Room Perspective

This plan was designed to portray a Geometric Modern style home exterior with a cozier interior that pays homage to that same period while incorporating sustainable design features into the home where possible. Some of the features include solar glass roofing tiles, Energy Star appliances throughout the home, geothermal heating and cooling, and orienting the windows in the home in relation to the hot summer sun to lessen the heat gain.

Throughout the home, calming colors such as sea gloss green and the ton of a sandy beach ore complimented by accents of coral to give the home a relaxing space with a nod towards the beach.

Main Level Floor Plan

The open floor plan incorporates several aging in place elements such as hardwood flooring throughout the main living spaces, a luxurious master both with roll-in shower, and even on elevator that allows bringing in groceries from the downstairs garage a breeze. The under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen makes it easy to prepare a meal.

Basement Level - Garage

A comfortable gray sofa combined with a pair of Le Corbusier Lounge chairs gives the open living room a modern feel, while still feeling comfortable enough to open up a favorite book and read the afternoon away. A modern wall shelving unit mimics George Nelson's wall unit and proudly displays on original boll clock designed by George Nelson above the desk.
